Construction is Complex Enough.

Don't let disconnected software, delayed payments, and compliance risks halt your projects.

Project Billing Complexity

Milestone billing, retention amounts, and variation orders all tracked manually in Excel. Disputes with clients over invoice accuracy.

Subcontractor Payment Chaos

Multiple subcontractors paid at different intervals. WPS compliance for each subcontractor's workforce tracked separately.

Material Procurement Gaps

No purchase order tracking for materials. Over-ordering and under-ordering both happen in the same project.

Labour Compliance Risk

MOHRE audits on construction sites check WPS compliance. Non-compliance freezes permits and halts projects.

The Unified Construction Stack

A single source of truth from initial project estimation to final handover and retention release.

Zoho Projects

Milestone planning, task tracking, resource allocation, and Gantt charts per project.

Zoho Books

Milestone invoicing, VAT on construction services, retention billing, variation orders.

Zoho Inventory

Materials procurement, PO tracking, site delivery management.

Zoho Payroll

WPS-compliant payroll for your workforce and subcontractor teams, EOSB provisioning.

FAQ

Questions UAE contractors ask us

Can Zoho handle milestone and progress billing?

Yes. Each project's milestones are set up in Zoho Projects and invoiced from Zoho Books, so billing follows progress and the amount invoiced to date is always visible per project.

How is retention handled?

We set up retention so the held-back amount is recorded on each progress invoice and tracked per project, then invoiced when it is released at handover or after the defects liability period.

Can we run WPS payroll for site workers?

Yes. Zoho Payroll generates the WPS Salary Information File (SIF) from each payroll run and calculates end-of-service gratuity, so site salaries go through WPS from the same run.

Can we control material purchases per project?

Yes. Purchase orders are tagged to the project they are for, so you can see what was ordered, delivered and billed for each site and compare it with the budget.

Does UAE eInvoicing apply to contractors?

Yes. Invoices to developers, main contractors and government clients are in scope, and credit notes must be electronic too, for example when a variation reduces the price. Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027. Businesses below that appoint one by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027.
